India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has praised the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and precise action in “Operation Sindoor,” calling it a historic moment in the country’s fight against terrorism.
India executed “Operation Sindoor” as a retaliatory measure following the deadly Pahalgam terror attack. According to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the strikes were targeted strictly at terrorist infrastructure within Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and adjoining Pakistani territories. “We scripted history last night,” Singh declared, emphasizing India’s right to defend its sovereignty.
According to multiple sources, the operation successfully neutralized multiple terror hubs believed to be responsible for cross-border infiltrations. The Indian Army employed high-precision artillery and aerial capabilities to ensure minimal collateral damage.
In his address, Rajnath Singh stated: “This was not just a counterattack — it was a message. A message to those who think they can harm our soil and escape unpunished.” He further credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for backing the military response and reiterated India’s commitment to zero tolerance against terrorism.
Several news outlets including NDTV, Times of India, and ABP News highlighted Singh’s phrase, “Bharat Mata ki Jai,” which quickly gained momentum across social platforms.
