Pakistan has launched retaliatory strikes on Indian military positions following the recent missile attacks by India that killed at least 26 people. The escalation follows India’s Operation Sindoor, which targeted what it called “terror hubs” in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
The Pakistani government has condemned India’s actions as an "unprovoked act of war" and vowed retaliation. According to official sources, strikes were carried out in direct response to what Pakistan calls "civilian-targeted aggression."
Pakistan’s DG ISPR stated that its forces have "only targeted Indian military infrastructure" and that any escalation will be met with "full force." Emergency alerts have been issued in major cities including Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Muzaffarabad.
Pakistan responded to Indian missile attacks that it says killed 26 civilians in PoK. It views India’s Operation Sindoor as an act of war.
Pakistan shelled Indian positions in Poonch, Rajouri, and parts of north Kashmir. Reports confirm both military and civilian zones were affected.
